About the Program
Learn IoT, Robotics, and Drone Technologies from Scratch - and graduate with real hardware experience, automation projects, and a verified internship certificate.
The IoT, Robotics & Drones Internship Program is a 4-6 Weeks (extendable to 2 Months), structured learning-cum-training program designed to help students build a strong foundation in embedded systems, IoT, robotics, and autonomous technologies – starting from the basics.
This program blends conceptual understanding with intensive hands-on hardware projects, taking participants from microcontrollers, sensors, and circuit design to building IoT-enabled systems, robotic models, and drone-based prototypes. Students will learn how to interface sensors, collect and transmit data, automate tasks, and integrate basic AI logic into physical systems under guided mentorship.
Learners will work with real hardware components and development platforms, gaining exposure to automation workflows, smart devices, and intelligent control systems used in modern industries.
By the end of this program, you will have built:
- Multiple IoT and robotics-based mini projects
- In-depth hands-on learning of Drone Concepts and flying it
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded programming
- Practical exposure to IoT platforms and real-time data handling
- A portfolio aligned with IoT Engineer, Robotics Engineer, and Embedded Systems roles
Objectives
- Build a foundational understanding of IoT systems, embedded electronics, and automation.
- Learn how to design and program circuits using Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
- Gain hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and wireless communication modules (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth).
- Introduce the concepts of robotics control, drone mechanism, and aerial automation.
- Help students apply IoT & robotics concepts to real-world problems through live projects.
- Hands-on with Drones and understanding of Drone Technology
- Enable participants to graduate with a deployable IoT or drone prototype and verified certification.

Learning Outcome:

- Basics of electronics and microcontrollers
- Arduino / ESP32 programming, Pin configuration and hardware interfacing
- Sensor integration: Temperature, motion, ultrasonic, and environmental sensors
- Actuators and control systems: Motors, relays, and automation triggers
- Data collection and cloud connectivity: IoT platforms:- Blynk, ThingSpeak, MQTT communication basics
Mini Project:
Build an IoT-based sensor monitoring or automation system with cloud connectivity.

Capstone Project:
Design and deploy a drone, robotic arm, or IoT-automation solution.

Learners build end-to-end intelligent systems integrating IoT, robotics, drones, and AI concepts.

If a participant is unable to complete or deploy their final IoT project by the end of the program, extended academic support will be provided. This includes one additional month of guided mentorship and, if required, complimentary re-enrollment in the subsequent internship cohort to ensure successful project completion.

Yes, upon successful completion of the program, students will receive an internship certificate from IIT Jammu along with I3C, and Techible logos.
The program does not guarantee placements. However, structured career enablement support is provided, including portfolio development, resume reviews, interview preparation, and mentorship to help students improve employability.
Yes. Students from all academic backgrounds are eligible to apply. The program is structured to support beginners as well as learners from non-technical backgrounds, with guided learning, hands-on projects, and mentorship throughout the program.
No. The program follows an open enrollment model. There is no interview or shortlisting process. Admissions are confirmed upon successful registration and payment, subject to seat availability for the selected cohort.
Students who put in effort and perform well during the program will be eligible for a letter of recommendation and it will be decided by the programme mentor.
Yes, the program includes a variety of hands-on projects to enhance practical understanding of the concepts taught.
The early cohort is offered at a subsidized fee to encourage early participation and to support broader accessibility. This also helps in planning mentorship capacity, project resources, and cohort size effectively.
After completing the registration and payment process, students can expect a confirmation email or offer letter within a week.

At present, there are no separate scholarships or financial assistance schemes. However, the program fee is already subsidized for the early cohort to ensure broader accessibility. Any applicable fee benefits are clearly communicated on the program page.
- Students may apply for a refund before the start of the program.
- A Full refund will be done if applied before 48 hours of the program starting.
- A 5% processing deduction will be done if applied within 48 hours before the program starts.
- A 10% deduction will be done if applied within first week after the program starts.
- After 1-week of the starting of the program, no refund requests will be entertained.
- For 2-weeks program, no refund requests will be entertained if applied after 2 days of the program starting.
The detailed schedule, including session timings, will be shared before starting of the program. However, the sessions are planned in the evening time only.
All necessary software tools will be provided during the sessions, and assistance for installation will be given. However, a laptop/PC with internet facility is required.
For IoT, you may have to purchase some equipment.
